Barbara Rick is president and founder of Out of The Blue Films, Inc., an independent production company dedicated to the creation of programs that explore, articulate and celebrate humanity. Rick is a long-time writer and producer with 20 years of experience in television news organizations including ABC News and WNBC-TV in New York, among others.

Joan Konner is Professor and Dean Emerita of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the recipient of 12 Emmy Awards, the Peabody and the Alfred I. DuPont-Columbia University Award for her producing and writing of more than 50 documentaries.
