Producer/Writer: Barbara Rick
Barbara Rick is the recipient of the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award, New York Area EMMY Awards, Associated Press and United Press International Broadcaster's Honors and the Edward R. Murrow Brotherhood Award, among others, for her production and writing work on documentaries, special reports and daily news coverage at WNBC-TV from 1980-1993. She founded Out of The Blue Films to produce, direct and write quality independent documentary programming. Sounds Sacred is her first independent documentary project. Ms. Rick serves as a television news writer for ABC's World News Tonight Weekend broadcast, winner of a National EMMY Award in 2000. A graduate of Fordham University, Ms. Rick teaches writing and production courses and serves as an individual writing coach.
Executive Producer: Pia Lindstršm
Pia Lindstršm has been involved with television broadcasting for over twenty years as a reporter, news anchor, film and theatre critic and Arts Editor. Her film and theatre reviews currently appear on Fox Television's Good Day New York program. Her awards include two EMMY's, one for news coverage, the other for on-screen performance. She has hosted a public affairs program for WNBC-TV in New York City and a two-hour news and interview program for KGO-TV in San Francisco. She was a correspondent for WCBS-TV and a reporter and celebrity interviewer for WNBC-TV's Live at Five. The daughter of actress Ingrid Bergman and Dr. Petter Lindstršm, she is the mother of two sons, Justin and Nicholas Daly, and resides in New York City.
